This book is a great read. The entire trilogy is engrossing and a colorful and thought-provoking fantasy. It is well written with believable detail and transports one to a fascinating galaxy. A great read and an exciting adventure.~MB Fiction Fan
Wade’s Trilogy has given me a new perspective. Women play a huge role in this work. It is written from the perspective of a woman and as a man I found this to be very interesting and perhaps unique in sci-fi. It’s not just the emotion and the lyricism of the writing itself but also the solutions to difficult situations confronting the characters in the story. What I mean is that men-dominated sci-fi usually solves conflicts with overwhelming force, but in this story, a lot more intelligence is balanced with the degree of force needed. It’s also interesting how the true source of the evil portrayed in the story is ultimately found and dealt with. It seems to me that it would take a woman to address these issues in such an interesting way. ~BB

The saga continues from “The Linking Moons”. We love these people of Torain more and more through their quests, love, travails and discoveries. Phillipa Wade is a poet and some of her short poems at the beginning of a chapter just tear at your heart. Her writing is so fluid.
It is a great story!
